چکیده
بررسی سیاست خارجی ایران و پاکستان نشان میدهد که عوامل متعددی در شکل‌گیری، تقویت یا تضعیف روابط دو کشور موثر بوده است. از همین رو، می‌توان بیان داشت که بعد از استقلال پاکستان از هند در 1947 تاکنون روابط دو کشور دارای فراز و نشیب‌های متعددی داشته که در این پژوهش تلاش می گردد تا این روابط بعد از پیروزی انقلاب اسلامی ایران در 1979 مورد واکاوی قرار بگیرد. پرسشی که این پژوهش در صدد پاسخگویی به آن برآمده عبارت است از مهم ترین عوامل همگرایی و واگرایی دو کشور ایران و پاکستان از ۱۹۷۹ تا ۲۰۲۱ کدامند؟ فرضیه مقاله این است که همکارى در حوزه امنیتی، انرژی و اقتصادی در کنار حضور در سازمان های منطقه‌ای چون اکو، دی-8 منجر به همگرایی شده و در مقابل به غیر از رقابت دو کشور از جمله احداث بندرها متغیرهای افغانستان، عربستان، سیاست های ایالات متحده به کاهش همکاری‌های دو کشور شده است. یافته ها نشان می دهد که تأثیر واگرایی نسبت به همگرایی بر روابط ایران و پاکستان بیشتر بوده است.

Abstract
An examination of the foreign policy of Iran and Pakistan shows that several factors have been effective in shaping, strengthening or weakening relations between the two countries. Therefore, it can be said that after Pakistan's independence from India in 1947, the relations between the two countries have had many ups and downs, which in this study tries to analyze these relations after the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran in 1979. The question that this study seeks to answer is what are the most important factors of convergence and divergence between Iran and Pakistan from 1979 to 2021? The hypothesis of the article is that cooperation in the field of security, energy and economy, along with its presence in regional organizations such as ECO, D-8, has led to convergence. The United States has reduced cooperation between the two countries. Findings show that the effect of divergence over convergence on Iran-Pakistan relations has been greater.
