Abstract
The construction of border fortifications is a new phenomenon that has emerged rapidly on a global scale in the 21st century. With the increasing movement of civilians across borders, a number of countries have turned to walls and other security infrastructure to control access to their territory, and the purpose of borders has changed, leading to increased construction of border barriers. During what has become known as globalization, the goal of borders has been to prevent the movement of civilians (border trespassers and unauthorized pedestrians). At the same time, huge economic gaps have emerged between the richest and poorest places on earth. Which led many people to move from rural areas to cities and eventually to the borders in search of better opportunities. In 2015, border walls on immigration and stopping the movement of smugglers and terrorist groups, were ordered. Global enterprises has taken place and this trend intensified in 2016. In addition, the fear of terrorism has played an important role in building the border walls which has been associated with it.
